NFL Stars Who Excelled Both On The Field And In Social Media For Week 3
With the NFL season underway, Cener Social Media will compile a list of the top performers who have excelled both on the field and in the realm of social media, each week. Starting with Week 3, here is our list of the NFL Social Players of the Week:
Mark Sanchez, @Mark_Sanchez
17/30, 171 Yards, 2TD, 1INT

The Jets Rookie Quarterback continued to impress the league Sunday as he led the Jets to a surprising 3-0 start. Sanchez converted when he needed to and the Jets Offense looked great on their scoring drives. On Twitter, Sanchez utilized social media to extend his sponsorship by asking his fans for support by clicking through to his Toyota Sponsorship microsite.
Sidney Rice, @sidneyrice
4 Rec, 56 Yards, 1TD

Sidney Rice caught four balls, one for a touchdown to open up the scoring, this week in the Vikings’ exciting win against the upstart 49ers. Fans were quick to congratulate via Social Media, and Sidney did a great job of replying to a lot of his fans personally. With so many fellow followers, fans accept that their favorite athletes may not respond to their tweets, but when they do get a response, their loyalty and interest in the athlete grow astronomically.
Sinorice Moss, @Humble83
1st TD Reception of the Season

Sinorice caught his first touchdown pass of the season, and gave his fans a piece of personal info, something that fans can never get enough of. Moss regularly tweets about his personal life and effectively keeps his fans interested in his life off the field
Maurice Jones-Drew, @Jones_Drew32
23 Car, 119 Yards, 3TD

Mojo broke out this week and led the Jags to their first win of the season. MJD is one of the most active stars on Twitter and does a great job of utilizing social media to its fullest potential. Hercules retweeted earlier this week to remind fans to attend a charity event he and the Jaguars were running.
